How we work

  • Fixed fee — Our price is published. State fees passed through at cost.
  • No false promises — We never guarantee approvals that belong to a third party.
  • One manager — A named person who knows your file, not a ticket queue.
  • KYC before filing — Verification up front is why our applications get taken seriously.
Overview

What a registered agent is for

A registered agent is the official point of contact between your company and the state. If your company is sued, served, or sent a compliance notice, it goes to the agent’s address — not to you.

The agent must have a physical street address in the state of formation and be available during business hours. A P.O. box does not qualify, and neither does an address in another country, which is why non-resident owners cannot act as their own agent.

Losing your agent is one of the fastest ways to fall out of good standing, because the state keeps sending notices you never see. We treat forwarding as the whole job, not an afterthought.

Why founders switch agents

Notices arrive late

Cheap agents batch mail or forward by post. A default judgment because a summons sat in a pile for three weeks is a real and expensive outcome.

Renewal surprises

Auto-charged renewals at a rate several times the advertised first year. We tell you before a renewal is due, every time.

No compliance support

A good agent tells you the annual report is due. Most simply forward the notice and leave you to work it out.

How this one runs

We are named as your registered agent in the formation filing, or in a change-of-agent filing for an existing company.

With formation

Address on record

Our in-state address goes on the public record instead of yours.

Immediate

Mail received

Anything served or sent by the state is received, scanned and sent to you the same business day.

Ongoing

Renewal

We contact you before the annual renewal date. Nothing is charged without notice.

Annual
Questions

What clients ask about this

Can I be my own registered agent?

Only if you have a physical street address in the state of formation and are available there during business hours. That rules out almost every non-resident founder.

Is this the same as a business address?

No. The registered agent address is for legal and state correspondence. If you want an address for invoices, websites and gateway applications, that is our virtual address service.

What happens if I do not have one?

The state can administratively dissolve your company, and you lose the liability protection that was the point of forming it. It is not a formality.

Can I transfer from another agent?

Yes. We file the change-of-agent form with the state. Tell us your current agent and state when you get in touch.
